Hi Colorado! I’m Maple, a gorgeous 1.5-year-old female Lurcher (greyhound mix) with mesmerizing eyes, long legs, and a bit of puppy mischief still in me! I’m a really good girl most of the time, but I didn’t get all the training and structure I needed when I was younger so I’m still figuring out the rules. I’ll admit, I can be a little vocal when I think I should get my way. What can I say? A girl has opinions! 😉 I’m looking for a confident, experienced adopter who can lovingly set some boundaries, teach me the rules, and help me become the amazing companion I know I can be. I love to run and would be happiest with a yard and plenty of exercise and possibly another confident dog to play with. One of my favorite ways to exercise is to run along next to my foster Dad’s bike. 😊 I have lived in a home with older kids but no cats. Ideally I’d be in a home where I’m not left alone for long periods at least at first. Give me consistency, patience, and a little guidance, and I promise to give you lots of love and laughs.
