She was rescued at the end of November 2022 after she was found in Muttrah badly injured. She had been shot about 8 times resulting in many longlasting injuries. Her tail had to be amputated due to the bullet getting lodged and infected. To make matters worse, her condition went completely undetected until she gave birth to a surprise litter of 8 puppies on Christmas Day. Sadly, only one of the puppies survived and he now lives in Montreal, Canada. Perfect home: Rahma is very people friendly and has a very calm demeanour. She loves to go on short walks where she is a dream to take out. She doesn't pull and plods along slowly. She also loves rolling in grass so a home with a garden would be perfect for her :) She is cat safe and could live with cats but she would do best in a home as the only dog. She gets along fine with Larry who is an older calmer dog like herself but she is not a fan of chaotic/ high energy dogs. It is way past time for her to be in her forever home getting all the love and attention that she so deserves. Please get in touch if you live in Oman or abroad and are interested in adopting her. She has been titer tested and is ready to travel now. Medical Concerns - Rahma has had her tail partially amputated and still has bullets lodged in her throat and left shoulder. We will provide a letter from the vet detailing these medical concerns. (She is healthy to travel, but we wanted to disclose her past wounds).
